The high quality MP3 files for the commentaries are between 15 and 32 megabytes each, averaging about 20 megabytes. The MP3 files for the Weekly Intelligence Update average 1.5 megabytes each. If you are using a dial-up connection, we suggest using a Download Manager which can resume broken downloads.
Windows Download Manager (not endorsed or supported by K-House): LeechGet (Download Here) and Download Express.
Internet Explorer and Safari for Macintosh has a resuming download manager built into it.
The commentary notes in PDF format are only offered for the current book study. The free Adobe Acrobat reader is required to view these notes. If you desire to download them to your computer, you may need to "Right Click" on the file link, and click "Save Target As".
To acquire the PDF notes for studies other than the current one, please purchase the MP3 CD-ROM product for the study you desire.
We ask that you do not share your password. Your BOF account is linked to your Online Store account, which contains your personal sensitive information. This is only intended to be used by yourself.

The default installation of the free Adobe Acrobat Reader will display a splash screen and open PDF files in your web browser, which can take quite some time. There are two ways to prevent this from happening for your weekly study notes.
- Right Click the study notes download link, and click "Save Target As" to save the PDF file instead of open it.
- Modify the Acrobat settings to make it run faster.
- For Adobe Acrobat 5, follow these instructions:
- Open Acrobat 5 Reader.
- Click "Edit" > "Preferences" > "General."
- In the left pane, click "Options."
- In the right pane, uncheck "Display PDF in Browser" and "Display Splash Screen."
- Click OK, and close Acrobat 5.
- For Adobe Acrobat 6, follow these instructions:
- Open Acrobat 6 Reader.
- Click "Edit" > "Preferences."
- In the left pane, click "Statup."
- In the right pane, uncheck "Display Splash Screen."
- In the left pane, click "Internet."
- In the right pane, uncheck "Display PDF in Browser."
- Click OK, and close Acrobat 6.

I, {Your Name}, agree to the following:
-
I will conduct myself with character becoming a Christian on the K-House BOF Message Boards. I will endeavor to speak the truth in love according to Ephesians 4:15.
-
I will refrain from engaging in empty words (Ephesians 5:6) and worldly wisdom (1 Corinthians 3:19). This includes arguments about politics and other worldly philosophies. Discussions are encouraged, arguments are not allowed.
-
I agree to the following statements about fellow BOF Members:
- We are brothers and sisters in Christ
- We are to encourage one another
- Conversation is good - vain arguments are bad
- Personal attacks will NOT be tolerated - that is behavior reserved for the world - not Christians
- We CAN learn from one another
-
I realize that not everyone has the same doctrine, theology, or political viewpoints. These issues have been discussed by great scholars for hundreds/thousands of years. I will use these message boards to dig into these issues, realizing that many of them will never be settled until the Lord returns.
-
If I have a personality conflict with someone, or do not care to carry on discussions with certain individuals, I will use the IGNORE feature. This blocks a person's posts from appearing on my screen, and I am in control of who I will engage.
-
I understand that message boards cannot convey the tone of a person very well. Some people have a very direct writing style, and it can come across as rude. Usually they do not intend to be rude, they are just very pointed and write that way.
-
I understand that not everyone here is at the same spiritual maturity. Spiritually immature people need to be discipled, not dealt with harshly. I will use these message boards as an opportunity to minister to one another and encourage one another to grow in the Lord.
-
If I feel a subject is on the edge of being "way out there," I will post a kind, loving response, giving biblical reasons (Acts 17:11). I will not attack the individual or condemn them over our disagreement.
-
I have read the Posting Guidelines: (Click Here) paying special attention to:
How should I deal with disagreement?
When there is a disagreement, please remember that the other Bereans probably have read their Bibles too, and it is not constructive to call people names. Please try to make sure you truly understand someone elses position before commenting on it, so that your response is as educated as possible. Study 2 Timothy 2:23-26, and answer in a spirit of gentleness, patience, and humility. Remember to speak the truth in love. (Ephesians 4:15)
What does 'Remember the Human' mean?
When posting on message boards such as this one, don't say things that you wouldn't say if you were face to face with someone. The posts you make are read by real people and you should treat these communications with as much respect and diligence as you would a personal conversation.
How is this different from other communication?
The main disadvantage of Internet communication is the absence of body language and intonation. Studies have shown that only 7% of our total communicated message is the words we use. This can create a situation where we interpret a message as being hostile, when the "tone" the writer was using my have been gentle. Always give the other posters the benefit of the doubt, and assume that people are speaking in a kind tone.
As with any large group of people, there will be some people who may seem offensive simply by their style and approach to communication. This isn't to say some people's personalities are wrong, as it is important to give the benefit of the doubt. If you encounter someone on the Berean Online Fellowship message boards that you don't get along with, please simply pass over their posts and don't feel like you need to respond to him/her.
-
I have read and prayed over these verses, and I will keep them in mind when using the BOF Message Boards:
-
I understand that the goal, hope, and prayer of the K-House Staff is that the Berean Online Fellowship will help me grow in my relationship with the Lord and provide meaningful fellowship with other believers. The manner in which I use these services is vital to reaching this goal.
-
I understand that if at any time I am not in compliance with these Terms of Use, I will be warned once, and upon the second infraction, my message board privledges will be revoked. My Berean Online Fellowship subscription will continue, but the message board portion of the site will be unavailable to me.
-
I understand that the sole judgment as to whether I have violated the Terms of Use lies with the K-House Staff.
